The Skelpit Lug Ceilidh Band played at our conference (Dunblane Hydro on 1 September 2016) and are a must for any event. They are friendly, lively and full of fun and will be sure to get your guests up and dancing.  The 5 piece band was very reasonably priced and I don't think that I could have found a better group of folk!  Thanks guys.

Just wanted to say thank you again for making my wife's 50th birthday party so special, (Birds and Bees Restaurant, Stirling, 28 August 2016). Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it, especially our family who travelled up from various parts of England.

The caller did a fantastic job in not only getting everyone involved but explaining, very clearly, the steps.

The Skelpit Lugs played for my husband Duncan's 40th birthday do (Doune Rural Hall, Sat 11 June 2016).  Please book these guys for your next do - what a fantastic band!  The calling was great, particularly through a more complicated dance that was tailor-made for us, Craig was so patient!  The playing was sensitive and musical, and everyone was up at some point to dance because it was so enjoyable - quite a few people made the comment that it was the best ceilidh band they'd heard for ages.  It made for a friendly, inclusive occasion and everyone from 3 to 300 enjoyed it immensely.   Clearly an experienced and wonderful band.

The Skelpit Lugs were great at my 70th birthday party (Albert Hall, Stirling on 16 January 2016) . We had a wonderful party accompanied by the band. Many of the guests were new to ceilidh dancing, but the music and the calling were so good it just involved them all and I was really surprised to see so many up dancing away - and thoroughly enjoying themselves. You made it a memorable night.
