I would recommend the Skelpit Lugs without any hesitation, great playing and attention to detail in setting up (8th November 2014 at Blairdrummond Village Hall).  They have a good variety of dances in their programme, they call the dances encouraging the dancers to take to the floor and making sure they have a fantastic experience.

We were delighted with the Skelpit Lugs' performance at our wedding (30th August 2014 at Victoria Hall, Dunblane).  There was a great variety of ceilidh dances, and even one I'd never done before.  The Lugs kept our friends and family up all night dancing, and everyone there had a fantastic time!

I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to you all for the most wonderful ceilidh music on Saturday (August 23rd 2014, at Dunblane).

So many people have been in touch to say what a good night they had and they have all commented on how brilliant the band was! I have been referring you right, left and centre so thank you again!

I really appreciated all the fun new dances you talked everyone through - such a great mix of music, tempo and chat - you judged it just right and kept the party swinging!

We were looking for a ceilidh band for our wedding (Victoria Hall, Dunblane, August 16th 2014) and the Skelpit Lug Ceilidh Band was recommended to us. From the first contact to the end of the last dance the band were FANTASTIC. Craig could not have been more helpful and accommodating and made this part of the wedding planning easy, straightforward and stress-free which was much appreciated. All of our guests had a brilliant time, even those who had never danced before! The band made sure that everyone knew the steps and had good fun at the same time. I would highly recommend the Lugs, they are excellent, value for money and worth every penny. We will look out for them and hopefully have the chance to see them play again in the future.

We booked the Skelpit Lug Ceilidh Band for my wife's 70th birthday party at the Golden Lion Hotel, Stirling, after only seeing internet video clips so was slightly apprehensive. I shouldn't have worried, it turned out to be an inspired choice. The music was brilliant with excellent timing that made dancing so easy. Everyone who attended commented about how good the band were. I can honestly say the band made the evening special and I would definitely book them again.

We have had so many lovely comments about our birthday ceilidh (at the Stirling Management Centre), from seasoned ceilidh-goers to novices.
