Can you please pass on to the band a huge thank-you from myself and Neil for the Skelpit Lugs' performance at our wedding (at the People's Palace Winter Gardens, Glasgow, 20th March 2010). Everyone had a great time and have been ranting about how great the band were and how well the dancing went under your instruction ( falls permitting!)

The Skelpit Lugs were truly fantastic when they played at the memorable ceilidh I had for my 16th birthday (at the Reid Memorial Church Hall, Edinburgh 6th February 2010). They were invaluable and ensured that the evening was a great success. The band's variety of music was amazing and as well as including all the well known dances they introduced a couple of fun new dances. I play accordion myself and the band made sure to include some of my favourite tunes as well as inviting me up onto the stage to play with them which is something I will never forget. The band members were very friendly and they really brought their own warmth to the evening. They are great musicians and I hope to have the opportunity to book them again.

We would all like to thank you and your band for making the girls birthday party (Loch Venachar, 16th January 2010) a great success. I was a bit worried how the night would pan out seeing there was such a wide range of ages attending, from 10 years to 80 years. Everyone had a wonderful time and many commented on how everyone mixed and really enjoyed themselves. A huge part of this was your encouragement to get everyone on the dance floor and great tunes.
A big thank you once again.

Thank you very much to you and your band for providing such great music at our wedding at Oxenfoord Castle (18th September 2009). All the guests enjoyed the dancing and we certainly enjoyed the different dances that you slipped in between the traditional ones.

Many thanks for such a great event (Stirling Indoor Bowling Centre, 9th October 2009) full of entertainment, fun and first class music. You were great at getting folks involved in the dancing. Everyone had a fantastic time! It was definitely the event we wanted - actually, even better!!!! Looking forward to next year's ceilidh!
